Pirates Ahoy!

For those that like pirates (or at least numerous pirate-y references) and have plenty of time to waste (or do anyway even if they don't) then allow me to direct your attentions to a little site that has occupied much of my time over the past several months

a interesting MMO (massively multiplayer online game) that's about (you guessed it) pirates in space. you can be as deeply invested in the story as you wish or not at all, due to the lack of graphic visuals the game fosters a strong community focus on RPing (Role-Playing) to create a story line around which one can follow, at times the administrators of the game (who play themselves) take ideas from the RPs and incorporate them into the actual gameplay in the form of NPCs (non-player character) or items.
the game is free and can be played without paying a cent, although you can pay to obtain certain goodies that can aid in your advancement, with the money going to support the game
